Annual Riverdale ‘Planting Festival’

Riverdale Farm planting festival takes place on Sunday 6 July, where you’ll be joined by many other like-minded individuals and together plant hundreds of native seedlings the Bremer River and share a delicious lunch.

We kick off the day by providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the planting event's purpose, the significance of our plantings, and why it’s important to plant by rivers. This approach offers you valuable insight into the impact of your contribution.

The event will be brimming with a celebratory ambiance, possibly due to the blend of enjoying the outdoors, forging new connections, and the gratification of actively contributing to conservation efforts.

The Bremer River is an 88km river and is home to an abundance of wildlife including threatened species such as Diamond Firetails, an exquisite small bird that is classified vulnerable.
